Description: This area is awesome...so awesome we came back. High quality granite, steep prows and great features... not to mention that it is on the beach, wildflowers abound, and you can camp next to the boulders. The was the prefect place to stop on the way north as this is the land of steep moderates which is prefect for the weary traveler, but there are new hard problems everywhere. Getting There: About 15km South of Coquimbo on Route 5 Take the Totoralillo exit and head west.

There are two main areas  one is north of the main beach one south:

North- Take the first dirt road on the right and navigate the road network to the camping spot ant the ‘golden zone’ at:

S 30*03’34.7”

W 071*22’48.9”

South- Park at the pay parking or just up the road and walk south on the beach. Many boulders up hill and on the beach.
